Did you know that half of Arizona's 3 Billion dollar agricultural revenue comes from Yuma County? That's right! We have a 1.5 Billion dollar industry in our own back yard and most people take it completely for granted.

One of our local organizations, the Yuma Area Ag Council, has been established to protect this local industry and to inform the public about issues concerning local agriculture and what is being grown in our area.

One of their biggest projects has been launched in conjunction with APS where the YAAC posts signs along our highways identifying the crops being grown and offering the public our Web address where they can find more information and see photographs about those crops.
